Pre-K One-to-One Dot Path

Name:
Date:

Today I am practising: counting each item once in a moving sequence

1

Trace across 2 dots. Say one, two. Write or copy 2.

2

Trace a curved path with 3 dots. Stop on the last dot and say the total.

3

Trace 4 dots that are spaced far apart. Do not skip any.

4

Trace 5 dots in a zigzag. Say each number only once.

5

An adult points to 3 dots out of order. Touch each one once and say how many.

6

Draw a path with 4 dots for an adult to count.

Grown-up guide
  1. Keep a finger, crayon, or small counter on the current dot so the child can see what was counted.
  2. Say the count sequence at a steady pace; speed is not the goal.
  3. Repeat only one path if attention fades, then return another day.
