Pre-K Numeral and Quantity Match

Name:
Date:

Today I am practising: connecting numerals 1–5 to counted quantities

1

Count 1 kite. Match it to 1.

2

Count 2 apples. Match them to 2.

3

Count 3 stars. Match them to 3.

4

Count 4 shells. Match them to 4.

5

Count 5 buttons. Match them to 5.

6

Choose one numeral. Draw that many dots beside it for an adult to check.

Grown-up guide
  1. Place the numeral cards 1–5 in order first if the child needs a visual number line.
  2. Ask the child to recount the set before choosing a numeral rather than guessing from picture size.
  3. Use cut-out numeral cards only if scissors are comfortable; drawing lines works just as well.
