Draw a 1–5 train and ask an adult to remove one car for you to replace.

Grown-up guide
  1. Let the child say the count sequence while moving cards or drawing connecting lines.
  2. Start with a three-car sequence if five numerals feel too demanding.
  3. Use the words before and after alongside a visible ordered row.
